On the islands in the Aleutian chain rats eat whole geese so I would imagine that they also kill and eat whole chickens, when they run out of eggs and chicks.
Years ago when my family went hunting for pheasants we were told that you must skin the bird & remove as much fat as you can because of pesticide build up in the fatty tissues.
Our neighbors have free range chickens on their farm land & sometimes we buy them for dinner. Do you think we should be skinning them?
